Rajasthan PTET Exam 2026 Educational Qualification
Applications for the Rajasthan PTET Exam 2026 have been opened for two courses: a two-year B.Ed. (B.Ed.) and a four-year integrated course (BA B.Ed./B.Sc B.Ed.). Admission to these two courses requires different eligibility criteria, as follows:
For 2 year B.Ed course:-
- Candidates must have passed graduation with at least 50% marks from any recognized university.
- Special categories like SC/ST/OBC/Differently Abled/Widow/Divorced and backward classes are required to have a graduation degree with at least 45% marks.
- Special category candidates with less than 45% marks will not be considered eligible to appear for this examination.
For 4 Year Integrated Course (BA B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed) :-
- General category candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks.
- Other reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/PhD) require a minimum of 45% marks in 12th class.
Note:- Candidates from states outside Rajasthan will be included in the GEN (General Category). Only 5% of the total seats are available for candidates from outside Rajasthan.

The application fee for all categories of candidates to apply for the Rajasthan PTET Exam 2026 is ₹500. You can easily pay the application fee through debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, etc. Candidates who wish to apply should fill out the exam form as soon as possible without waiting for the deadline.
Rajasthan PTET Exam Pattern 2026
The biggest question on the minds of candidates applying for the Rajasthan PTET Exam 2026 is what the exam pattern is. There are four sections. The exam carries a total of 600 marks, and you will be asked 200 multiple-choice questions, each of which carries 3 marks for each correct answer. You will be given three hours to complete this paper. There is no negative marking. You will be required to study four subjects, which are as follows:
- Mental Ability (50 questions – 150 points)
- Teaching Approach and Aptitude (50 questions – 150 points)
- General Knowledge (50 questions – 150 points)
- Language Proficiency (50 questions – 150 points)
Note:- In Teaching Aptitude you will be awarded 3,2,1,0 marks according to the accuracy of the answer.

How to Apply for Rajasthan PTET Exam 2026?
- First, you need to visit the department’s official website.
- You will then see two options on the homepage: a 4-year course (BA.BEd / BSc. BEd) and a 2-year course (B.Ed). Click on the link for the course you wish to apply for.
- After this, you will need to complete the registration process.
- The application form will open, and you must fill in all the required information correctly.
- Upload the required documents, including a passport-size photo and signature.
- Finally, you must pay the application fee according to your category.
- Finally, you must submit your form. Print it out and keep it safe.
