Rajasthan 150 Unit Free Bijli Yojana Eligibility
- The benefits of this scheme will be available only to those consumers who are already registered under the former Chief Minister’s Free Electricity Scheme.
- It is mandatory for the consumer’s electricity connection to fall under the domestic category.
- The consumer must possess a permanent (concrete) roof of their own, capable of accommodating a 1.1 kW solar rooftop system. Only those consumers whose roofs possess the technical feasibility for the installation of this solar system will be eligible.
- To avail the benefits of the scheme, consumers are required to register on the online portal of the Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Yojana.
- Upon approval of the application, the consumer will be provided with up to 150 units of free electricity per month.
Rajasthan 150 Unit Free Bijali Yojana Benefits
- Under this scheme, consumers are required to install a solar rooftop system on their own roofs.
- This scheme is being implemented under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana’ (Prime Minister’s Solar Home Free Electricity Scheme).
- Upon installing a solar rooftop system, the consumer will receive a subsidy of ₹33,000 as assistance from the Central Government.
- Additionally, financial assistance of ₹17,000 will be provided by the State Government.
- In total, consumers will receive financial assistance amounting to up to ₹50,000.
- Under this scheme, a smart meter will be provided to consumers free of cost.

- If a consumer consumes more than 150 units of electricity, they will be required to pay for the additional units at the prevailing rates.
150 Units Per Month Free Electricity Scheme Ownership and Maintenance
- Under the PM-Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, ownership of the rooftop solar system will rest with the consumer.
- The responsibility for the safety and maintenance of the plant will lie with the consumer.
- The monitoring and operation of net metering will be carried out by the DISCOM.

- If you are eligible, an application form will open before you, displaying your current eligibility status.
- Enter the OTP provided within the application form.
- After confirming your eligibility, accurately fill in your details and click the ‘Submit’ button located at the bottom.
- Upon completing this process, your application form will be successfully submitted.
