The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 across 140 cities nationwide. Due to an unprecedented surge of over 2.5 million applicants, the board expanded the exam to a two-day schedule on Saturday, February 7, and Sunday, February 8, 2026.
Each day is divided into two shifts: the Morning Shift (9:30 AM to 12:00 PM) dedicated to Paper 2 (Elementary Level) and the Afternoon Shift (2:30 PM to 5:00 PM) for Paper 1 (Primary Level).
